Member Business Spotlight!

The Chamber offically welcomes Virginia Insurance Advisors to their new location with a ribbon cutting this past week.

Virginia Insurance Advisors was officially founded in 2023 by Travis Lane. Travis has been in the insurance industry for 9 years helping clients with their Health insurance and Life insurance needs. While Virginia Insurance Advisors helps folks with Health and Life insurance, their specialty is in the Medicare space for folks that are typically 65 and older. Those insurance decisions are very important to make as folks transition into their retirement years and Travis enjoys being a part of that journey.

Travis got into the business in 2016 because of his father, Scott Lane. He saw his father helping folks with their financial planning and decided to help on the health and life side. Scott Lane owns and operates Lane Financial Strategies, which is who provides retirement and financial planning services to the clients at Virginia Insurance Advisors.

Travis is also a new member of the community out here in Amelia, VA. He moved here back in May 2024 with his wife Ariel Lane and their 5 furry children to get away from the hustle bustle of Chesterfield County. They couldn't be happier out here on their own slice of heaven. Because he lives out here, Travis decided to move the business from Chesterfield to Amelia and now services the folks of Amelia and the surrounding areas.
