As you know, ACPS is facing a financial issue that has caused certain expense funds to be frozen for now (substitutes, paper, new equipment, replacement equipment, travel/conferences, etc).

Our community has come together to collect paper for the schools, but there are still plenty of other opportunities for us to show support for our school system, let the students know we believe in them, and boost morale for our educators.

A few ideas:

-Cater breakfast or lunch for the teachers & staff of one/all of our schools:  something as simple as donuts and coffee or a pizza lunch

-Stock the teacher’s lounge with snacks/lunch items

-Provide school supplies for teachers

-Write notes of encouragement and support to our teachers/staff

-Contact the PTA at each school to see if there are specific activities/events that you could sponsor

-Contact sports/other team coaches about sponsorships/specific equipment needs

-You are limited only by your imagination! Let’s take this opportunity to show our schools how much the community supports and values them!

*Remember – many donations can be tax-deductible for your business.
